Magnolia Club

The Magnolia Club insures that all the endeavors of the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women are supported with necessary funds.   Without the monetary support of generous donors who contribute to the Magnolia Club, much of the LFRW’s work could not be accomplished.

Members of the Magnolia Club contribute at least $ 100 annually to the Federation.  Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the LFRW.  The funds from the patrons of the Magnolia Club become part of the general fund and are used to promote the works of the Federation.

A special pin and a certificate are given to each member of the Magnolia Club.  They also get special seating at LFRW board meetings and convention luncheons and banquets. When a large number of guests at a banquet attend an LFRW event, Magnolia Club members have priority to be admitted into the banquet setting.  They are also invited to special events at LFRW Board Meetings or at Conventions.

The Chair of the Magnolia Fund recruits patrons from LFRW membership, Republican elected officials, business or educational leaders or other civic leaders, regardless of gender or Party affiliation and acknowledges each contribution.  She keeps an accurate record of all contributions and forwards all checks to the Treasurer of LFRW.  She assists in the planning and hosting of Magnolia Club events by working with the host club or clubs.

The Chair of the Magnolia Club Committee is Pat Cabral from the Republican Women of Baton Rouge.  The Vice Chair of this Committee is Connie Forstater from the Republican Professional Women of Greater New Orleans.  With your generous gift of time and effort, the Magnolia Club will go over the top!
