Finally back together!. Well almost! We had a our first meeting, since the virus pandemic, at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Alexandria.. Those that wanted to meet together did so with many wearing masks. For those who did not want to attend in person, there was also a zoom virtual meeting provided at the same time. It was so good seeing everyone that attended the meeting. During this meeting, we introduced our new Webmaster, Samantha Carson. She is eager to get to work for the Republican Party. In June we are doing a big fundraiser. We decided that since everyone had cleaned out their closets, house and garages, we should hold a garage sale. On April 16,2020 the Rapides Parish Republican Women's Club held their FIRST Virtual Meeting. Everyone was invited to attend our zoom meeting at 6:00pm. It was really nice to see everyone's smiling faces while being quarantined at home. A big shout out to our President Wanda Aizpurua, VP Kerry Kimble and VP Kitina Summers for joining our meeting. Specail thanks to Carita Wilson for explaining to us about the book club in the LFRW web site. Although this virtual meeting was a nice solution for having a RPRWC meeing , I do hope we will be able to have our regular scheduled meeting at the Holiday Inn Downtown Alexandria.

The first meeting for the new RPRWC was held February 20, 2020. The guest speaker was Judge Shannon Gremillion who is running for Supreme Court. The focus of the meeting was to introduce the new executive board as well as invite member to sign up for standing committees.

The Rapides Parish Republican Women held their monthly meeting on April 7, 2016, at the Conference Room in Alexandria, LA. Deborah Randolph, President of the Central LA Chamber of Commerce was the guest speaker. Mrs Randolph spoke to the members about taxes and legislation that passed during the special session called by Governor Edwards. She also presented how this legislation will influence our community, businesses, and home from the state and federal levels.
April 20, 2016 This will be the LFRW Day at the Legislature. Lt. Gov. Billy Nungessor will be hosting the event. Breakfast and Lunch will be served at his Barracks Apt. I hope some of you can plan to attend. If you would like to attend, please let me know because some will be car pooling together.
